Google I/O 2012 Extended Manila


Can't attend Google I/O 2012? Want to know what's the latest from the event? Join us on our I/O Extended event on June 27 from 6:30 in the evening to 4:00 in the morning of June 28.

Google Apps Challenge Meetup

Are you participating in the Google Apps Dev Challenge 2012? Or do you want to know more about Google Apps and Drive APIs? GDG Philippines is organizing a workshop/hackaton on June 23, 2012 (from one in the afternoon to six in the evening) at the CodeFlux Office.

Due to public request, the GApps Developer Challenge Wokshop will have a hackaton but it will be moved to July 6 7:00 PM to July 7 7:00 PM.

Fire Up Your Computer: The 2012 Google Apps Developer Challenge

Google recently announced the Google Apps Developer Challenge, where developers across the globe will be put to the test to find new and innovative ways to use Apps Script, Apps and Drive APIs. 

Developers in 6 regions across the world will win prizes that include Chromebooks and up to $20,000 USD with additional prizes for all-student teams!

Interested? All you have to do is build and submit an amazing application in one of these categories:
  • Enterprise / Small Business Solutions
  • Social / Personal Productivity / Games / Fun
  • Not-for-Profit: Education / Water / Food & Hunger / Health
Eligibility
  • The Challenge is open to developers worldwide except in select countries/regions
  • Your app is not publicly available through the Google Apps Marketplace, Chrome Web Store or any other website prior to August 24, 2012.
  • Make sure to include a functionality that would enable the judges to fully test-drive your app.
  • You can only form a team of up to three people.
